What Is Biosphere
The biosphere describes our living world. All organisms are found in the animal biosphere. The atmosphere extends over the upper part of the Earth as far as birds and insects are found. The biosphere is a relatively thin layer of the Earth’s surface that extends from a few kilometers in the atmosphere to the deep-ocean waves of the ocean. The biosphere is a global ecosystem made up of living organisms (biota) and abiotic (non-living) factors. from which they obtain energy and nutrients.
The biosphere is the layer of the Earth where life exists. This layer extends up to ten kilometers above sea level and up to 9 kilometers deep from the sea. The biosphere is one of the four layers that surround the Earth along with the lithosphere (rock), hydrosphere (water) and atmosphere (air) and is the sum of all ecosystems.

Creation Of Biosphere
The biosphere has existed for about 3.5 billion years. Earlier organisms such as prokaryotes, single-celled organisms such as bacteria and archaea lived on oxygen.
Some bacteria developed a unique chemical process. They started photosynthesis and making water oxygen and this continued. Over a long period of time, the atmosphere developed a mixture of oxygen and other gases that support new forms of life.
The presence of oxygen in the biosphere facilitated the evolution of complex life forms. Millions of different plants and other photosynthetic species evolved. Animals consume plants. Bacteria and other organisms evolved to decompose or break down dead animals and plants.
The remains of dead plants and animals form nutrients in the soil and ocean. These nutrients are reabsorbed by the growing plants. This exchange of food and energy makes the biosphere a self-supporting and self-regulating system.
Humans play an important role in maintaining the flow of energy in the biosphere. Sometimes, people obstruct this flow as well. When people clear forests or burn fossil fuels such as coal and oil. In the atmosphere, oxygen levels decrease and carbon dioxide levels increase. The future of the biosphere will depend on how humans interact with other organisms.

Currently, there are 563 biosphere reserves around the world. The first biosphere reserve was established in Yangbami, Democratic Republic of Congo. The Yangbei, in the fertile Congo River basin, is home to 32,000 species of trees and preserves of wild elephants. The Biosphere Reserve in Yangbei supports activities such as agriculture, hunting and mining.
Living Beings Of The Biosphere
The biosphere is the entire area of the Earth inhabited by living things.
There are very different environmental conditions within the biosphere. On the basis of this, more or less different creatures live there.

In the outer regions of the biosphere (far above or below the Earth’s surface) environmental conditions are very extreme (eg: extremely cold or hot temperatures, hardly any water resources). Only microorganisms survive here.

In the areas between the two extreme edge regions, you will mostly find comparatively mild and moderate temperatures, air pressure, radiation values, and pH values. Why Is The Biosphere Necessary
For organisms to live, certain environmental conditions (such as proper temperature and humidity) must exist, and energy and nutrients must be supplied to the organisms. All animal and mineral nutrients necessary for life are contained within the Earth’s biosphere. Nutrients contained in the waste products of dead organisms or living cells are turned back into compounds that other organisms can reuse as food. This recycling of nutrients is necessary because there is no source of food outside the biosphere.
