Pluto is a dwarf planet discovered in 1930 by a scientist named Clyde Tombaugh. This dwarf planet also orbits the Sun like other planets, but it is very small in size.
Initially Pluto was given planetary status. But it is too small. It will be half of the US in size. Pluto is smaller than the Earth’s moon. Because of this, its planetary status was abolished.
Pluto is colder than Antarctica
Pluto is quite cold. It is also colder than Antarctica. Pluto’s temperature is around 230 degrees below zero. It is so cold that the air of the Earth will become fiercely snowy there. The gravity of Pluto is also very less than that of Earth. This means that Pluto will weigh much less than a person on Earth.
Pluto has a diameter of about 2,300 km, that is, 18% of the Earth. Its color is a mixture of black, orange and white. It is said that the difference between the colors of Pluto is seen in very few objects in the solar system, that is, the colors are mostly the same.
In the study conducted from 1994 to 2003, it was seen that the colors of Pluto have changed. The color of the North Pole was slightly brighter and the South Pole was slightly thicker. It is believed to be a sign of changing seasons on Pluto.
Distance from pluto to sun
Pluto is considered a planet on the last ring of the Tire system. Pluto is about 5.9 billion kilometers from the Sun.
