The atmosphere of Uranus is made up of hydrogen and helium gas. It also contains some amount of water and methane gas.
These clouds made of methane gas absorb the UV rays coming from the Sun, due to which the color of the planet Uranus looks like green-blue to us. That is why it is also called Green Planet.
Along with these clouds, the air there moves at a speed of 900 km / h. But a strange thing has been noticed in this. At the equator, which is the central part of the planet, this wind moves against the speed of rotation, while near the pole it moves in the same direction.
Why and how this happens, we do not know yet. But we definitely know the atmosphere, due to the absence of any surface of the planet Uranus, its atmosphere is spread very deep inside.
Troposphere :- This level of the atmosphere extends from an altitude of -300 km to 50 km. At the bottom of the level is the 320k temperature. But this temperature decreases with altitude. At an altitude of 50 km, this temperature remains only 53K.
Stratosphere :- This level starts after the Troposphere. Which extends from an altitude of 40 km to 4,000 km.
The temperature characteristics in this level of the atmosphere are opposite to those of the Troposphere, here the temperature increases with altitude. Where the temperature is 32K at its lowest point, it reaches 850K at the top.
Thermosphere :- This is the outermost layer of the atmosphere of the planet Uranus. Which extends from an altitude of 4,000 km to 50,000 km. Despite having such an area, the temperature remains almost the same in all the places here. Between 800-850 k, The reason for the high temperature here is the methane clouds which absorb the sun’s rays and generate heat.

Saturn is not the only planet in the Solar System that has rings. When the rings of Saturn were discovered, scientists thought that this is a special feature of Saturn.
But when the rings of the planet Uranus came to be known, then scientists realized that the presence of rings near the planet is its symptom.
The ring of the Uranus planet is not as big and bright as Saturn but it has 13 rings in total. It is divided into two parts. inner system and outer system.
There are 9 rings in the inner system, all of them are thin and dark in color, while the rings of the outer system are wider and slightly brighter than this. It appears slightly red and blue in color.
