Right Dose Of Zinc

According to the Recommended Dietary Allowance, the amount of zinc a baby should take from birth to 6 months of age is around 2 mg. A child aged 9 to 13 should take closer to 8 mg. Males aged 14 to 18 should take closer to 11 mg. A woman aged 14 to 18 should take closer to 9 milligrams. A male aged 19 to 50 should take around 11 mg. A woman aged 19 to 50 should take around 8 mg. A pregnant woman should take closer to 11 mg and a lactating woman should take closer to 12 mg.
